Fantastic location in the old town – just a few minutes’ walk from most of the main tourist sites. The property is situated a few yards back from the famous square ‘Plaza de la Merced’ where there are lots of bars with a good variety of tapas and other foods, and which was the site of Picasso’s birthplace. Just a few minutes further on, and you’re right in the centre with a dazzling choice of places to eat and a brilliant night-time atmosphere. The appartment itself was wonderful – though we ate out all the time, there were good, modern cooking facilities if you need them, great shower, comfy bed and – most importantly as we were there in August – excellent aircon. Downstairs there is a smart reception area where we were met on arrival by Clara. She was very friendly and extremely helpful – as we were first time visitors, she took time to give us loads of tips and local insider knowledge on what to see and how to make the most of our stay.
